What sources does SpringVerify use to verify employment?
SpringVerify uses a multi-source approach: direct HR contact, PF/EPFO government records, MCA/ROC company registration data, TAN verification, and the proprietary RM WhatsApp escalation channel. Cross-referencing means a candidate cannot game one source without the others catching it.
What is AI auto-grading and how does it work?
For checks where the data from government and employer sources is unambiguous, SpringVerify's AI grades the result automatically - clear or discrepant - without a human reviewer. Currently 41% of employment checks are auto-graded at 99.1% precision.
Can SpringVerify verify employment at companies that no longer exist?
Yes. For defunct companies, SpringVerify relies on PF/EPFO records, MCA archival data, and available statutory filings. These government-backed sources exist independently of the company's operational status.
Is the candidate's data safe during the verification process?
SpringVerify is certified under SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701. All candidate data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Aadhaar numbers are masked after processing and never stored in raw form. SpringVerify is fully compliant with India's DPDP Act 2023.
