Which ID documents can SpringVerify verify in India?
SpringVerify verifies four government-backed documents: Aadhaar (via UIDAI and DigiLocker), PAN Card (via Income Tax Department), Driving Licence (via Ministry of Road Transport), and Voter ID (via the Election Commission of India). Each check returns a structured result with match status and full verification details.
How long does an identity check take?
Aadhaar and PAN checks are typically completed within minutes of candidate submission. Driving Licence and Voter ID checks are processed within 24 hours. In all cases, results are delivered directly to your SpringVerify dashboard with no manual follow-up required.
Is candidate consent collected before running checks?
Yes - always. Every candidate completes an explicit digital consent step before any verification is initiated. This consent is timestamped, logged, and stored as part of the audit trail on each check. SpringVerify's consent-first flow is designed to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) requirements.
How is candidate data protected?
SpringVerify is SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701 certified. All data is transmitted using TLS encryption and is not stored beyond the verification window. Access is role-restricted, and every action on a check is logged in a full audit trail visible from your dashboard.
What happens if an identity check fails?
If a check returns a mismatch or cannot be completed (for example, due to a name discrepancy or an expired document), SpringVerify flags the check with a clear reason code. Your team can choose to raise an insufficiency, request the candidate re-submit, or escalate for manual review. SpringVerify does not make hiring decisions - that remains with your team.
