What happens if a university has closed or merged?
SpringVerify maintains records for institutions that have since closed, merged, or been renamed, and routes verification requests to the successor body or state education department responsible for archived records.
Can distance or correspondence degrees be verified?
Yes, distance and correspondence degrees are verified the same way, provided the issuing institution is UGC-DEB approved for distance education. Unapproved distance programs are flagged as a discrepancy.
What happens if a discrepancy is found?
