For employees, go to Settings, Employee Information, Extend Service and open the Employee form. For candidates, go to Settings, Onboarding, Extend Service and open the Candidate form. Add a BGV Details section with a dropdown labelled exactly Package_name, a single-line BGV Status field and a URL field for BGV Report. Make the phone number required.

In SpringVerify

Open Integrations, search for Zoho People and click Connect. Log in to Zoho People, accept access, map your packages to the package names and save.

How do I connect Zoho People to SpringVerify?

Which fields do I add in Zoho People?

Add a BGV Details section to the Employee form, the Candidate form, or both. It needs a dropdown called Package name, a single-line BGV Status field and a URL field for BGV Report. The dropdown can have up to four options.

Why must the label be Package_name?

SpringVerify looks for a field with the label Package_name to know which package to use. If the label is different, the integration cannot read the selection.

How do I start a check for an existing candidate?

Open the candidate, edit the BGV Details section, assign a package name and save. The phone number must be on the record, so make it a required field or add it before you start.

How long does it take for SpringVerify to pick up a candidate?

SpringVerify fetches the details from Zoho People within about 10 minutes of the package being selected.

What comes back to Zoho People?

The current verification status in the BGV Status field and a link to the report in the BGV Report field. Your team does not need to log in to SpringVerify to see progress.

Is candidate data secure?

SpringVerify is certified with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, and aligned with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Data is encrypted and handled with explicit candidate consent.
